Google and Scholarly Research

During lectures I often note how useful google can be to find academic research. We talked about using google scholar and the advanced search function. With that in mind, I'm sure you'll appreciate this infographic from Jenica Rhee.

  4. Wow, I wish I had this cheat sheet long ago. There are so many different shortcuts available on computers it is nice to have key ones handy on this sheet. There are also some really great tips for using research search tools as there is so much information to sift through. I often forget about so many of these research and general search tools so it is awesome to have this succinct post to remind me.

  5. Wow! Thanks for sharing this with us Jenica Rhee. I knew there was some "cheats" for Google, for example using the quotations in order to search the exact phrase. But I had no idea that there were so many cheats and how beneficial that this can be! I will definitely be using this in the future.
