Technology Narratives

I thought this image is related to what we've been discussing in class (and online!). I'm wondering though, how would you change the wording for each platform so that it it would fit with your field or speciality?

  1. Alright, well here goes nothing!

Twitter: I am at the #EdmontonSPCA right now in my class, ~ 15000 dogs a year come through the doors. A lot of dog walks!

Facebook: I went the Edmonton Humane Society today for one of my classes and had a presentation about, and a tour of the facility. I was very surprised when I found out that 15000 dogs are seen by the staff at the Humane Society each year. I was even more surprised to know that the vet can neuter dogs in less than 3 minutes - I better stay away from her! During the presentation, two dogs were in the room with us, one of them was an Australian Shepherd and the other one was a little puppy! If anyone needs to adopt and animal, the SPCA is definitely the place to go!

Foursquare: (GPS location) I am at the Edmonton Humane society! Everyone should come here to adopt an animal.

Quora: "Why do people abandon dogs" (I think this is a question-answer site...)

Youtube: (A video showing the dogs barking in the kennels and of the living rooms, where people can go in and pet friendly dogs)

Linkedin: Umm, seen as this is a business sire I'll pretend for a minute that i am a vet. I know I'm kind of defeating the purpose of this by talking about the SPCA, but oh well!

Graduating from _university_ in _year_ as a qualified veterinarian, I have seen many injured animals. A good number of my clients companion animals are adopted from the EdmontonSPCA; I have been, and continue to be extremely impressed with the quality of care given by the nonprofit organization. Not one of the animals I have seen within the first month of being adopted, has been aggressive, nor ill due to an infection. I would like to thank my colleagues at the Humane Society for the thoroughness of their exit exams, and behavioral tests.

Facebook: Hilary and 4 others were tagged in her Facebook Album: Lake Louise, Jan 28

Foursquare: Hilary is at Lake Louise Ski Area Gondola with 4 others (GPS tag)

Quora: What are the dangers to skiing out of bounds at a ski area like Lake Louise, since they have ski patrol?

YouTube: Lake Louise promo video linked to FB or twitter.

    Linkedin:
